This summer, DVFC is offering six weeks of day camp at its West Conshohocken location.  Ideal for beginners and experienced fencers alike, fencing camp will is a great opportunity to try fencing for the first time, build a deeper understanding of a sport they already love, play fun games, and make new friends.

Dates:

Week 1: June 19th - June 23th 2023.

Week 2: July 17th - July 21st 2023.

Week 3: July 24th - July 28th 2023.

Week 4: July 31st. - Aug. 4th 2023.

Week 5: Aug. 7th - Aug. 11th 2023.

Week 6: Aug. 14th - Aug. 18th 2023.

Times: Monday-Friday, 9am to 3pm, with options for early arrivals and late dismissals.
Ages: 9-16

Campers will learn about fencing through games, drills, and bouting.  They'll play other games, too - some to build general athleticism, some simply for fun.  Off-strip activities will include video analysis of their own fencing and that of international fencing stars, and other activities, like board games, to build strategic thinking and friendships.  Overall, each week will be a great chance to learn more about fencing and make new friends.

Students should wear comfortable athletic clothing and sneakers.  In addition to wearing shorts for class, beginners will need to bring long pants and advanced fencers will need knickers.  Bring lunch, snacks, and a water bottle.  All further equipment is provided by DVFC.

$500 per week - Summer Camp

We will also have two weeks of competitive camps. Week 1 will be before Summer Nationals, and week 2 will be before the new season.

Competitive camps dates:

Week 1 - Pre Summer Nationals Camp: June 19th - June 23th 2023.

Week 2 - Pre Season Camp: Aug. 14th - Aug. 18th 2023.

$550 per week - Competitive Summer Camp

There are no refunds for missed camp time due to illness or other personal reasons.
