Camps
During the summer, DVFC offers five weeks of day camp. Ideal for beginners and experienced fencers alike, fencing camp is a great opportunity to try fencing for the first time, build a deeper understanding of a sport they already love, play fun games, and make new friends.
Campers will learn about fencing through games, drills, and bouting. They’ll play other games, too – some to build general athleticism, some simply for fun. Off-strip activities will include video analysis of their own fencing and that of international fencing stars, and other activities, like board games, to build strategic thinking and friendships. Overall, each week will be a great chance to learn more about fencing and make new friends.
In addition to our standard camps we also offer two weeks of camp for our competitive fencers, to help hone their skills before Summer Nationals in June and the start of the next season in September.
