Registering, Paying for, and Starting Classes

You can register and pay for classes either online via our web store or in person at our front desk, for private lessons you must contact us to schedule a time when one of our coaches is available to hold a lesson. Our billing cycle goes from the first of the month to the end of the month, you can start at any time however we do not prorate classes. 

Students should wear comfortable athletic clothing and sneakers, and may want to bring a water bottle. For our beginner class all equipment is provided by DVFC, however for our advanced and competitive classes we recommend students to have their own equipment. For assistance in what equipment you should buy our front desk will be happy to assist you.

Payment deadlines

We require all members to be on automatic billing for their membership via a credit or debit card. Any payments which are not completed by midnight on the 7th of each month will be subject to a $40 late fee.

Coaching fees must be paid within 14 days of being billed (generally, that billing is done within a week after the tournament). Coaching fees will be charged to the credit card on file. In the event coaching fees are not paid on time, there will be a $20 late fee.

If this poses a financial hardship, please speak with Luna at the front desk to make alternative arrangements and sign a payment agreement.

DVFC sends invoices, updates, confirmations and news to our families via email. We do not share your email address with others or send solicitations other than official DVFC business and news.

closures

DVFC will be closed:

• Friday through Monday of Memorial Day Weekend
• Friday through Monday of Labor Day Weekend
• Thursday through Sunday of Thanksgiving weekend
• December 23rd-25th
• December 31st-January 2nd

In the event we plan to be closed on a day not listed here we will send out an email notifying you of the closure. If your class meets on one of these days it is YOUR responsibility to schedule a make-up class, tuition will not be prorated.

DVFC hold classes unless the weather is particularly fearsome. In general, if nearby public schools close or have an early dismissal due to the weather, then DVFC will be closed. (In some rare instances, like when a media panic the night before shuts down schools for what proves to be a minor storm, we may send out notice that we will be holding class after all, which will probably be a big relief if you’ve been cooped up with an energetic youngster or two all day!) There are no additional makeup sessions for lessons missed due to the weather and memberships do not get extended.

How will you find out if classes are cancelled? Since we usually don’t have much time to get the word out, we’ll rely on the quickest methods to send out information – email, a mass text message, and a status update on our Facebook page. As we head into winter, please make sure that we have good contact information for you! We don’t want you driving on treacherous roads just because our email went to a spam folder!

Missed lessons and make-up lessons

We have a 24 hour cancellation policy when it comes to lessons, if you do not give enough notice for a cancellation we reserve the right to refuse you a make-up lesson. No credits will be given for lessons you do not make-up during the current session. If you don’t make up a missed lesson before the end of the session, you forfeit the classes.

refund policy

We do not offer refunds for purchased memberships, however we do understand that certain circumstances may prevent members from continuing with the program. In these cases you will be entitled to a credit for any future memberships.

 

DVFC reserves the right to refuse service to anyone for any reason. DVFC reserves the right to cancel anyone’s membership at any time for any reason.

Recurring payments must be cancelled by 10 days before the new month to avoid being charged.
